Mikhail Nikolaevich Egorov
He was a member of the Kirov (Mariinskij) from 1965 onwards, until he ended his career at some point in the late 1980s. He was also a teacher at the Leningrad conservatory. Lyrical tenor; his best roles were Lenskij, Faust, Tamino, both Edgardo and Arturo in Lucia, Lykov, Gvidon, Alfredo and Almaviva. |
