Cesare CataniCesare Catani is a tenor who made his debut in 1996. During the Wexford 1997 Festival, he sang Ubaldo in Elena da Feltre. A tape of the performance (later also issued on CD) revealed a strong voice and sounded, judging from the tape, promising. However, it didn't last: after little more than ten years, Catani's career was practically over, apart from very occasional appearances between his native Ascoli Piceno and the Marche's regional capital, Ancona. |
