Jerald Treston sings Turandot: Nessun dorma
In RA format

When Jerald Treston had a workplace accident that left him with a crippled hand, he needed a new job – and started singing. He was a 300-pound nightclub singer in Las Vegas when he was discovered by Sam Weiler, who had once been the manager of Mario Lanza.

Weiler was convinced to have found Lanza's successor... but his efforts never got any further than a 1968 aria LP where Treston's voice was dubbed over pre-confectioned "opera for orchestra" tracks.
