André Post singsMessiah: Comfort ye, my people
Post sang in an amateur choir, which led to vocal studies in Den Haag and Amsterdam. He began his career in the late 1990s; in Amsterdam, he would sing comprimario parts (Thibault in Les vêpres siciliennes, Ruiz, David for instance), while in the Dutch provinces, he sang main roles (Gounod's Faust and Nemorino in Heerlen).

His main activity was no doubt in sacred music: oratorios and masses from Bach to Puccini. But he also continued to sing on stage: Ruiz at the Bregenz Festival, Eisslinger in Essen, First Prisoner in Fidelio in Amsterdam, Pang, Misail and Guillot de Morfontaine for the touring Reisopera... and Rodolfo and Tamino in Maastricht, Rodolfo also at the summer opera festival in Alden Biesen (Belgium).

From 2019, he was a chorister at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. The above picture shows him at a very young age, he was later much slimmer.
