Helend Peep sings Ainult unistus (Körver): Kõik roosid ma kingiksin sulle

Peep had an interesting career, and a very long one: from 1938 to 2001. Most of the time, he was a drama actor: 1939 to 1942 at the Kuressaare Theater, 1942 to 1944 at the Workers' Theater in Tallinn, 1944 to 1946 at the Youth Theater, 1957 to 2001 at the Vanemuine Theater in Tartu.

But from 1938 to 1939, he was a chorister at the Vanemuine (which has always produced both straight and music theater), and from 1946 to 1957, a tenor soloist at the same theater, where he sang Tamino, Prince, Vladimir Igorevich, Lenskij, Eisenstein, and a few Estonian operas and operettas; a particular success was his Beggar in Körver's operetta Ainult unistus (Only a dream).
